CONSENT TERMS

The purpose of processing your personal data- Your personal data will be utilised to contact you for providing necessary assistance for your participation in this event/exhibition/conference. 

 

Type of information

Consent is for the following personal data: first name, last name, gender, telephone number, email address, postal address including postal code, city and country. Additionally, your consent shall be required by our payment gateway partners for processing your payment. 

We may also capture pictures/videos/testimonials during the event/exhibition/ conference which shall solely be used for promotional purposes or other activities of the event/exhibition/ conference.

 

Storage of data

All the data uploaded on this portal is stored securely in a cloud infrastructure managed by our team.  Your data will be stored in best in-class cloud servers hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS). We use Content Delivery Network (CDN) for effective and quicker delivery of contents/data of the participants distributed across multiple geographies.

 

Conversation data

Conversation data either in form of text, audio and video are not recorded or stored on this portal. The data gets deleted as and when a session is completed. The text chat can be copied upon completion of the show. There is no export option provided to prevent any misuse of the data.

 

How long is the data stored?

Your consent is valid for a period of 2 (two) years unless otherwise specified.

 

Withdrawal of consent

Notwithstanding the above, to request the withdrawal of your consent regarding your personal data, you may request us vide an email on secretariat@vpavipo.com 

 

Automated decision-making and profiling

Your personal data shall not be used for automated decision-making or profiling.

 

Warning Regarding Phishing Attempts

We do not use third-party contractors / vendors to solicit any type of personal information or data from you. All data required by us is obtained through our own portal or hyperlinked by us (payment gateways etc.). If you receive any request / solicitation for personal data / information from any person / entity purporting to act on our behalf, please do not share your personal data / information with such persons / entities as that may be a phishing attempt or any illegal ways of third party. The participants are requested to take care of themselves from such illegal attempts by third parties and we shall not be liable for any such consequences thereof.
